6/28 Baseball: Lubinsky shines at All-Star Classic

OSHKOSH, Wis. — Austin Lubinsky led the West team to two victories Saturday during the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches All-Star Classic at E.J. Schneider Field.

Lubinsky, a La Crosse (Logan High School) native, went 3-for-4 in a 16-9 win over the North team, and was the winning pitcher in a 13-5 victory over the South.

Viroqua’s Jay Fanta and Prairie du Chien’s Kyle Sime each went 2-for-2 for the South against the West team. Fanta added two hits in his team’s 14-2 win over East.
