Prep baseball: Area players to participate in All-Star Classic

Seven players and coaches from the Coulee Region will be part of the Wisconsin Baseball Coaches Association’s All-Star Classic in Oshkosh, Wis., this weekend.

Aquinas’ Zach Rickaway and Logan’s Austin Lubinsky and Tony Mueller will team with Onalaska’s Kyle Stewart on the West roster.

Viroqua’s Jay Fanta, Prairie du Chien’s Kyle Sime and Seneca’s Tyler Payne will play for the South team, which includes Royall’s Joe Vitcenda as part of its coaching staff. Teams from the West, South, North and East will each play three games in a round-robin format at E.J. Schneider Field on Saturday and Sunday.
