3/28 softball: PdC's George tosses no-hitter in opener

PRAIRIE DU CHIEN, Wis. — Britni George struck out seven and tossed a five-inning no-hitter Friday to lead the Prairie du Chien High School softball team to a season-opening, 12-0 Southwest Wisconsin Conference win over Platteville.

Laken Polodna, Chelsie Fritz and Alana Skemp all had two hits for the Blackhawks. Polodna smashed a two-run home run in the second inning.
