6/12 Baseball: De Soto, Aquinas at state today

The day will start early today for the De Soto High School baseball team as the Pirates face off against Abbotsford at 8 a.m. in the WIAA Division 4 state semifinals at Fox Cities Stadium in Grand Chute, Wis.

Aquinas High School will make its first appearance in the WIAA state tournament when it faces Stevens Point Pacelli in the Division 3 semifinals at 1 p.m. today.

The De Soto-Abbotsford winner will face the winner of the other Division 4 semifinal, featuring Hurley and Johnson Creek, in the state title game at 9 a.m. Thursday. The Aquinas-Pacelli winner will take on the winner of today’s
